sunrise.

Midterms continue to suck. At the tone, the time will be... 5:48 a.m. What is wrong with this picture?!

As I sit at this god forsaken dining table, the sun is beginning to peek its head over the horizon. Seven and a half hours 'til it's over. Fawk!!!

what midterms?

I think a study break is in order. Calvin and Hobbes is pure genius. Bill Watterson is pure genius. I think this singular strip is a testament to that. Calvin's such an asshole, I love it.

In other news, I'm still buzzing about the big trade the Lakers pulled off the other day and I have no doubt in my mind the Lakers will go far--maybe not necessarily a championship just yet, but close to it. I must've read dozens of articles and watched just as many related YouTube videos in a span of an hour. That's right, I'm on a well-deserved study break.

What sucks most about this time of this particular quarter is that there are people I wanna hang out with but can't due to tests like my good buddy Calvin up there demonstrated for me.

Time to eat!

wow.

LiveJournal. Anyone remember that? I've been reading some of my old entries and I can't help but think... Man, was I an emo spaz.

something great to wake up to.

Pau Gasol to the Lakers. And that's not the best part.

We traded away Kwame Brown to do it. LakerLand is saved!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go have a bowl of some victory cereal.

Update (2:02 p.m.): I think this comment (over on the L.A. Times LakersBlog) pretty much sums it up:

"Suddenly the Spurs just felt a lot older and got tired. The Suns are shaking in their boots especially Amare... The Mavs are going to implode by trading half their roster for Jason Kidd... McGrady just decided he's going to be injured the rest of the year... Sloan just pissed off Kirilenko... the Blazers finally said 'wait 'til next year'... Christ Paul just realized he can't go 1 on 5... The Nuggets just realized that now the Lakers will score 150 points on them... Baron Davis just put in a request to be traded to the Lakers... Lamar Odom's dreams of being the 4th option has finally come true."

hello world.

So. I've been meaning to get this blog up and running for a long time now, seeing as to how it was one of the deals I struck with 2008. But then again, I also vowed to eat better, run more, live out new experiences, and learn from some of my past mistake(s). Some have gone well, others not so much. At least I'm only a month off. And so it goes.

See, whenever new blogs are created, first entries are almost always the longest and most interesting and the entries after that--if there are any entries--subsequently get crappier and schmappier. Why? There's excitement. Something new to play with: a shiny new blog! I can't let that happen [and believe me, I have my fair share of one-entry-blogs taking up empty web space].

Well, seeing as to how I've spent the last hour or so (is it really 4:00 a.m.?!) getting this thing to look somewhat pleasing to the eye, I'm gonna hit the sack.
